Whether your requirement is to record just one or two extensions or hundreds of lines of incoming and outgoing calls, Actimax has a solution to suit your needs.
Call recording can be achieved by recording all lines on the incoming ISDN circuits or alternatively on the actual individual telephone extensions. With changes in the technology arena there is also a third alternative available for use with VoIP telephone systems where the calls are recorded using IP.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each method of recording. If the calls are recorded using the ISDN telephone lines then this method has the advantage that all calls are recorded regardless of the nature of the call or which extension it is made from. This can be an expensive option if only a few extensions require monitoring. This method is most cost effective when your business requires twenty or more extensions to be recorded.
The recording of each extension has greater flexibility and is suitable for smaller numbers of telephones but this would not be recommended for use in large quantities.
VoIP recording is utilised when the telephone system is an IP system. This method will record both internal and external calls and is the way forward for many businesses.
Each of these solutions can be combined with your customer database, thus providing records of the calls to each of your customers and creating the ability to integrate these with other information you hold on them
